I felt very safe attending my appointment this morning with Kartik. His professionalism and warmth still came through the necessary PPE that has to be worn, and it can’t be easy or comfortable wearing it. The staff on duty were welcoming and all necessary steps were clearly explained. Thank you.

Studied at - Barts & The London, UK Qualified dentist since 2008 General and Cosmetic dental treatments provided Born and raised in South London, Kartik attended Whitgift School in South Croydon where he soon realised a natural skill in drawing and a fascination with medial science which spurred his pursuit of a dental career. Having graduated from Queen Mary University London in 2008 with Distinction, Kartik started his career in Essex treating nervous adults and children with special needs. Since then he has gone on to gain postgraduate qualifications with the Royal College of Surgeons and in cosmetic dentistry. In 2009 he returned full circle to South Croydon, settling to work in general practice thereafter. As well as focusing on providing a full range of traditional family dental treatments for his patients, Kartik is also able to provide additional specialised treatments for those patients requiring them, with the ability to enhance smiles through orthodontic straightening of teeth, teeth whitening and a wide range of cosmetic treatment.

I found Kartik to be very professional and thorough in all aspects of dentistry undertaken.

It is always a bit daunting when you have got used to, and like, a dentist to then find that the practice ownership has changed. However I need not have been unduly concerned as, from the initial consultation onwards I have found Kartik to be approachable and with a warmth that means that, not only me but also my learning disabled daughter is able to access his services with confidence. He always explains issues and possible treatments thoroughly.

Over the years I became more and more anxious about attending the dentist, and it was something my previous dentist was not sympathetic to. I changed to Kartick and would thoroughly endorse him and his team. They have made going to the dentist a much less traumatic experience.

Excellent first class care and service. Very professional throughout.

I was very happy with my routine examination today. The whole procedure from reception to making next appt was well organised and the Covid precautions seemed thorough and easy to follow. The air conditioning in the treatment room on a very hot day was most welcome and the new major xray piece of kit was a great improvement.

Full marks to the practice for the way in which they have coped with the Covid-19 epidemic. I felt completely at ease with the new arrangements and Dr Kartik and staff were as efficient and caring as always.

I was very pleased with the effort all members of staff put in regarding the protection against Covid 19. It cannot be easy performing dentistry under such stifling constrictions. Well done everybody. Especially Dr Kartik.

My visit to the dentist was so well organised and everything was done for patient protection! It is not my favourite place to be generally but I felt completely safe and at ease with all the extra precautionary measures made. A huge thank you to Kartik and his staff!

Can't fault the precautions taken at the practice to prevent infection, nor Kartik's excellent care. Kartik takes his patients' welfare very seriously and gives 100% to achieve the best outcome. A very kind, considerate and skilful practitioner.

Very comprehensive information given before the appointment and so I knew what to expect and I was prepared. With all the precautions taken I felt safe from the virus. The examination was as as thorough as it usually is. Warm welcome and a very understanding professional approach taken by all.

Kartik is a gentleman with a great sense of humour , he is gentle and thorough and talks through what he is doing. (however , with all that protective gear he has to wear I could not understand what he was saying !!!)

Wading through the necessary admin process due to Covid-19 is painful (then having to sign on an ipad on arrival makes a mockery of all the preparation), as is having to pay a week in advance. However, this is a lovely practice and the dentist is very professional and thorough.

I highly recommend Kartik he explains everything so clearly and puts you at ease, I have already booked another appointment.

When you say root canal treatment, most people roll their eyes and frown, so I was a little apprehensive. However my treatment was completely painless (didn’t even feel the injection!). Kartik calmly explained every step and put me at ease throughout. Very happy with the outcome.

I have a really bad phobia of dentists and I had to have a large tooth extracted . Kartek managed to keep me calm enough for him to extract my tooth painlessly. I would highly recommend him for his expertise and care. Also, thank you so much to Julie for for being so lovely and caring to me, it made all the difference!

Being a new and rather nervous patient requiring an emergency extraction of my back molar, I cannot sing the praises highly enough for the indepth investigations and subsequent treatment received yesterday. Dr Patel and his team were very professional and my treatment was second to none. I have definitely found my 'forever' dentist. Thank you!

Kartik and Radha have spared no effort in making their patients feel safe and secure in these unusual times. The PPE must be very uncomfortable for Kartik and Julie to wear but they do this with good humour and all the professionalism that we have come to expect. Kartik is 'The Wizard Of The Teeth'. I had a broken tooth which I was convinced could not be saved but Kartik repaired it and it is as good as new. I have had excellent service at this surgery and all the staff are wonderful especially Kartik's lovely wife Radha.

Kartik puts you at ease and always explains what he is doing. He uses the latest techniques and materials available. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The surgery is always meticulously clean and at the moment full PPE used so the environment feels safe and well organised.

Visited for my check up and scale/polish now that dental surgeries are back operating. Everything was meticulously organised and controlled to give a comfortable feeling of safety. Despite the need to wear extensive PPE, Kartik was as cheerful, friendly and welcoming as ever. When visiting Kartik I'm always left with a feeling that I've had a good and thorough examination and that by dental needs are being cared for to the highest possible standard.

We found our experience to be a very safe enjoyable one , we had no worries or concerns with being there , kartik and his team as always are very friendly and always put you at ease .

Was able to get an emergency appt as I had a tooth ache and it was Friday pm. Felt very safe in the dentist reception and clinic with all the PPE in place. Treatment plan in place and antibiotics to relieve the pain. Great service - as I would expect.

I had a long appointment and was made to feel very at ease by both Kartik and Julie (nurse). Kartik likes to make sure everything is just right, so you feel you have a very good end result.

A slightly sci-fi experience, but, as always, we know we are in safe hands.

I have always received excellent treatment from Kartik. He is very calm and patient and goes out of his way to put you at ease. I recently had a crown fitted and it looks so natural I sometimes forget which tooth it is. The practice has a real family feel and patients are normally greeted by Kartik's delightful wife Radha at reception. They also have a small friendly clinical team. My wife and son also visit the practice and we all thoroughly recommend it.

As near to a standard dental appointment as you can get! Excellent considering the difficulties the practice has to deal with.

Usually a nervous dental patient, I attended Dr Patel's dental surgery with a broken back tooth which could not be seen by my normal NHS dental practice due to the Covid19 pandemic. Dr Patel was extremely kind, courteous, approachable, welcoming and professional, and listened keenly to what I said, totally putting me at ease. He took several x-rays and undertook a very thorough examination of my teeth and gums. He then clearly explained his findings and the likely course and type of treatment necessary. Mr Patel's receptionist and dental assistant were also very pleasant, friendly and approachable and made me feel very comfortable and welcome. The whole dental practice was extremely clean and tidy and Covid 19 hygiene and safety measures were strictly adhered to in every respect including the wearing of PPE which made me feel very safe. I highly recommend Dr Kartik Patel and the Bearsted Dental Studio.

I have been to see Kartik with problematic teeth several times and he is always very helpful, caring, thorough and professional. I always feel comfortable and safe on my visits, as do my family, and highly recommend him.

I visited Dr Kartik Patel on 2 July for a check up and review of my dental treatment. In view of the Covid rules all staff at the practice were wearing full PPE and every consideration was given to my health and welfare. I was extremely happy with the check up and was sent a future treatment plan and estimate by email very soon after leaving the practice. Overall, I am very happy with the service provided by Dr Patel and his friendly team and have every confidence in their practice. Their new procedures have been well thought out and are working well to protect the health of their patients.

I felt very Covid safe at this difficult time. Treatment as expected and well explained. Kartik and staff are always helpful and courteous.

Professional, friendly and welcoming. The whole team made my experience so easy after COVID. I suffer from terrible dental phobia so was made to feel at ease. I cannot recommend Dr Patel highly enough, 5 stars well earned.
